Terms
Plain English, short. What you get when you buy an ABRADO device, who sells it to you, and the one rule about refunds.
Last changed 6 November 2026.
Who you are buying from
Polar Software, Inc., trading as Polar, is the seller of record and our reseller. Polar takes your payment, adds sales tax where tax is due, sends the receipt, the download and the licence key, and handles refunds and card disputes. Your purchase is governed by Polar's buyer terms as well as these, and Polar handles your payment details under its privacy policy.
ABRADO makes the software and licenses it to you under the terms below.
The licence
A licence is personal and cannot be transferred, lent, resold or shared. Install the device on the computers you personally use; a studio machine and a laptop are fine. Do not post the file or the key anywhere.
You may use the device in any music you make, commercial or not. You may not strip the licence check, repackage the device or distribute it, in whole or in part.
Updates to the same major version are included and appear next to the original download in your Polar customer portal, under the same purchase; log in there with the email you bought with. A new major version is a new purchase.
All sales final
The device is a digital download delivered the moment you pay, with its licence key. All sales are final. If something does not work, write to us first; we fix what we can.
Two things stand above this line. Rights that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be signed away are not touched by it. And Polar, as the seller of record, may refund an order under its own terms, for example when it believes a payment was made in error or wants to head off a card dispute; that is Polar's decision, made under its terms, not a promise from us.
What we promise, and what we do not
The device does what its page says and nothing else; the measured numbers on each page are the record. Beyond what the law requires, it is provided as it is, without other warranties. Where the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the device.
Changes
When these terms change, the new text appears here with a new date. A change does not take away a licence you already have.
